I’m Kev,
I am a DSVA Part 1, 2 and 3 Qualified driving Instructor and have been instructing since 2018, I am currently delivering instruction to new and older drivers.

I am fully Criminal Records / Barring Service cleared and permitted to work with children and young persons and able to deliver driving instruction.

I have successfully undertaken my intensive ‘Learner Driver’ Instructor training with the AA and have received certification from them recognising my success at passing both Part 1 and 2. I am now delivering lessons and advice to new students and experienced drivers wanting to improve their driving standards whilst getting onto their road to success.
It is my aim to deliver quality fun lessons, excellent customer service and share my extensive driving experiences to improve your families driving skills for life.

I am proud to have been part of the team at 1 To 1 School of Motoring since 2016 and have worked alongside Adam, Patch and Dave who supported me through my ongoing training as a trainee instructor. During this time I have had considerable number of students some of whom have had 1st time passes with zero minors.

My Back Ground

I am a retired Police Sgt and have served both on the Isle of Wight and Mainland locations.
Driving has been at the heart of my career for over 20 years. I am both a car and motorcycle rider and have been a chauffeur driver for weddings.

I have successfully undertaken numerous intensive Police Driving Courses. These have included Basic Car Courses and High Speed Pursuit and Response courses; learning ‘Advanced Driving Skills’

 I have safely responded to emergency 999 calls as a Pursuit and Response driver for over 15 years.
I have achieved additional certification for Responding and Managing incidents on Motorways and Fast Roads. I have undertaken defensive Long wheel base Mercedes Benz Sprinter van training for use as an emergency response driver for Riot control and public order incidents.  This led to me driving varied response vehicles during the London Riots, Olympic games and numerous other events.
I have experience of dealing with serious road accidents and improving driving standards upon our Hampshire Roads and feel it is important to instill good driver skills which has led to me wanting to share my driving experiences with new drivers so that they can gain top class driving skills for life.
In addition to car driving I am also a keen motorcycle rider and have been riding since I was 17. I am pleased to be teamed with Pitstop Motorcycle Training for CBT Motorbike Rider Training Check Out pit-stoptraining.co.uk who deliver top class CBT and Enhanced Rider training on the Island and mainland.
